In 2002, David Alley purchased a copy of Microsoft Frontpage from Harvey Norman and built a website which no longer exists www.breakingthedrought.com. That website proved popular and had over 40,000 hits in 2 years.
In the years that followed other people and organisations wanted David to also build them a web presence. In 2005 David started Web Technology Queensland as a web-design business, initially part-time.
In 2010 the business had grown and began to specialise in web hosting, and started hosting on its first server in the USA. It has grown from there. WTQ now has several staff and supports a growing client base.
Today, Wordpress has taken over the internet and slowed it down. WTQ Hosting has developed a method of allowing a business to utilise the functionality of wordpress, with the speed of a static website. Talk to us about this.
